How to install a fresh copy of Windows with a USB
This guide provides detailed instructions on reinstalling Windows using Rufus.ie, focusing on trace cleaning after receiving game bans. Follow these steps to ensure a thorough reinstallation process.
- Use this method whenever you encounter a ban on a game without a trace cleaner.
- Staff team members may recommend this method over others.

Step 1: Preparation

1. Acquire a USB drive with a minimum capacity of 8GB.
2. Install and open the Rufus application from Rufus.ie.
3. Download:
 https://rufus.ie/en/

Step 2: Download Windows .iso File Installation

- Windows 10: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fthmknM0DL3Gi7w2_f7VVcH0WKG5LzOu/view?usp=drive_link
- Windows 11: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1K7gnl-Pi9Qm2g2TRS-_aq5PwgJxnj5zG/view?usp=drive_link

   - Download and Open Rufus on your computer.
   - Select USB Drive: Choose your USB drive from the list under "Device."
   - Select Windows ISO: Click "SELECT" next to the "Boot selection" field and choose the downloaded ISO file.
   - Start the Process: After selecting the ISO file, click the "Start" button. Rufus will prompt a warning; confirm and proceed.

Step 3: Confirm Installation
After installation, ensure the files are on the USB.

Step 4: Booting from USB

1. Open the Start Menu: Click on the Windows icon or press the "Windows" key.
2. Open the Power Menu: Hold down the "Shift" key and click on the "Power" icon.
3. Select Restart: While holding "Shift," click on "Restart."
4. Access Troubleshoot Options: After restarting, go to the "Choose an option" menu and select "Troubleshoot."
5. Choose Advanced Options: In the Troubleshoot menu, select "Advanced options."
6. Access UEFI Firmware Settings: In Advanced options, choose "UEFI Firmware Settings."
7. Restart Again: Click "Restart" again.
8. Access UEFI Setup: Upon restart, navigate to the UEFI Firmware Settings (BIOS).
9. Select USB Boot: Locate the section related to boot options and set the USB drive as the first boot device.
10. Save Changes and Exit: Save changes in the UEFI settings, and the computer will restart, booting from the USB.

Initiate Windows Installation:
Once booted from the USB, the Windows installation process should begin. Make sure you choose the "Windows Pro" while going through it.

Step 5: Windows Setup
Towards the end, opt for "Custom" rather than "Upgrade." Within the drive partition section, carefully delete all partitions linked to your Windows installation. Focus on removing only those partitions associated with Windows disks. On the newly created partition, click "New," then "Apply," and proceed by clicking "Next." This sequence will start the Windows installation process using the custom partition setup. For guidance or uncertainties, create a support ticket in our ChlorineCheats Discord Server.
